JAVA DEVELOPER TO TRANSMODE We are currently hiring skilled Java Developers. You will in collaboration with other developers and engineers work with the Transmode Network Manager (TNM) system, which is used by our customers to monitor and control their optical transmission network.

Customer network are growing rapidly and becoming more complex. This imposes new demands on the TNM architecture with new feature and functions being regularly added and updated (such as automatic provisioning and activation of network services). It presents us with exciting challenges and opportunities for the future of TNM. Within the Network Management Group, we use Agile methodologies , automated integration and system testing, together with well known tools for development (Eclipse, Netbeans, Git , etc.), continuous integration (Jenkins CI with build pipeline), and testing (Junit and more).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and test new functions according to the current understanding of market requirements
- Maintain and fix existing code and feature
- Participate in other activities associated with giving quality to our product and meeting market demands
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Masters degree in telecommunications, computer science or software engineering or equivalent
- Documented experience in Java programming
- Experience in *nix environment and with shell-scripting
- Experience of SQL and databases
- A drive to work with Agile methodologies
- You are fluent in both Swedish and English
- Motivated by challenges and new opportunities
