Academic Work is on behalf of our client looking for a Content Coordinator to their Minecraft Content Team. You will belong to a small team, which consists of three coworkers today. The team is working very close together within a new area in the company, they are newly started and are now looking for their next colleague to expand the team.
This is a consultant assignment. Academic Work will be your employer and you will work as a consultant. The assignment will be full time for six months. There are good opportunities to be extended on the assignment, given that all parties are satisfied with the cooperation.
ARBETSUPPGIFTER
The team works primarily with user-generated, in-game content such as worlds or resource packs containing custom textures or sounds. As a Content Coordinator, you together with the team will also handle intakes, reviews, feedback and approval for content that appears on the Minecraft Marketplace for the Bedrock platform and Minecraft Realms for the Java platform.
For example, you will:
* Assist in daily intake and review of user-generated Minecraft content
* Give detailed feedback on Minecraft content, coordinating with creators, the team and internal stakeholders
* Contribute to team discussions on processes, distribution of tasks and brainstorming
When new in your role, you will get an introduction where you will learn how Minecraft is working. You will play the content to get an understanding of what the team is looking for when reviewing the content and to understand the product.
The position suits you who have a great interest in computer games and would like to develop your skills in quality assurance and game reviewing. You will be part of a team whom is always trying to find new ways to work since the work processes is not yet settled, which means that you get the opportunity to influence your role and working methods. * Have a great interest in computer games
* Have a post-graduated education within IT
* Have very good knowledge within English, both in speech and writing
* Are familiar with group online communications and collaboration tools, such as Slack, Trello etc.
It will be considered an additional qualification if you have previous experience in Minecraft, and/or positions such as QA, software testing, video game level design, technical/game customer support.
As a person, you are meticulous but at the same time effective in order to succeed in the position. You see the importance of improvements, both within the team and in work processes, and dare to give feedback. It is important that you are a good communicator and have high collaboration skills, since you will have a lot of communication and cooperation with others. Finally yet importantly, you need to be a game player in order to really enjoy and understand the role.
