We’re looking to hire a Junior Data Scientist who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and is inspired to use their talents to help us in our mission to pioneer women's health with research and passion. As part of the MAD team (Medical Algos and Data) you will help harness all the potential of our data and use it for a variety of different purposes, from developing new algorithms to improve our product, to doing research in the underserved areas of women’s health.

The position will either be based in Geneva or remote in the European or EST time zones.

What you will be doing

- You will optimise and develop new algorithms, to improve and expand our product and bring even more value to our users
- You will work closely with other teams in the company, supporting them by providing relevant insights
- You will conduct research on our unique data, collaborating with leading experts in the field of women’s reproductive health
- You will work daily with the other data scientists and our Medical Affairs Manager


What skills and experience we think that you have

- PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Science, or similar data-analysis-heavy fields
- Good experience with programming languages used for Data Science (preference for Python and its common libraries, e.g. Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, etc.)
- Creative and pragmatic approach to problem solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
- Experience with Version Control systems (git)
- Good planning and organisational skills with an ability to manage several projects at the same time
- You have excellent written and verbal communication in English (this is even more crucial with remote work)
- Excellent team player


Not required but it would be a bonus if you also have

- A passion for women’s health
- Experience with Machine Learning algorithms
- Experience with object-oriented programming
