Melting & Atomizing is one of our core processes when producing Höganäs´ world-leading metal powder. Would you like to be part of the development of existing and future processes for Melting & Atomizing? We are looking for a junior Process Engineer to join our team.
About the position
We are constantly striving towards further optimizing our processes for existing and future powders, to get as competitive powder as possible. The Melting & Atomizing team is part of our Global Technology organisation and is a small but highly dedicated team with a lot of specialized know-how. As a junior Process Engineer, you get the possibility to take part of this know-how in your daily work and further grow yourself in the area of Melting & Atomizing. The role as Process Engineer include:


• Initiate and drive information transfer and activities in Best Practice Group Melting and Atomizing
• Secure successful implementation of new product/processes in different operations
• Secure competence within the core technology
• Support projects and activities with hands-on knowledge
• Support regional operations in process know-how and transfer knowledge
• Ensure that global process development is done according to corporate and local quality and environmental standards
• Ensure that activities, projects and meetings are concluded cost-efficiently

Your profile
We are looking for you who has recently finalised your university studies within Metallurgy. To thrive in the role, you need to have a big interest both in process development and in production. We see you as an outward problem solver with strong project leader, teamwork and communication skills. You also need to have the ability to structure and organise your work in an efficient and good way.

Travelling is required about 20 days/year when it is not pandemic. In terms of language skills, both fluent Swedish and English are required.
