OM TJÄNSTEN
Industrial Optimizers provides specialized business planning and support tools to commercial airlines, passenger rail and coach operators. They have a global client base and in addition to the headquarters in Stockholm have offices in the UK, Mexico and The Philippines. Their principal product, called MP2, is one of the world’s most advanced tools for transport optimization, network planning, scheduling and analysis. It's a multipurpose software solution for numerous business functions within an organization.

As a newly graduated developer at Industrial Optimizers, you’ll have a wealth of opportunities to develop in the role since they are using new techniques for developing a complex product. It’s a flat organization, you will work closely with colleagues in both the Stockholm and UK offices. The team will be there to offer support but are also open to new thinking from you.

Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process but the candidate that proceed will be employed directly by Industrial Optimizers.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Junior System Developer your work tasks will vary. Your main responsibility will be to develop the system. You will have the opportunity to take part in meetings with the company’s global client base. This will include offering technical support and working with the sales team to provide product demonstrations. The entire team is involved in decision-making and you will have the chance to influence the direction of product development as well as the company’s wider strategic plans.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
We are looking for you who have following qualifications:
* has a completed university degree within the IT area
* has knowledge of object-oriented programming and relational databases
* is a citizen of an EU/EEA country
* is fluent in English. Other languages will be considered of merit.

It will be considered of additional merit if you have experience of/or are interested in cloud services.

As a person you have a strong interest in new techniques and learning new things. As the role involves both systems development within a small team and being a part of demonstrations at client meetings, we see you as a flexible and cooperative person. Furthermore, it’s important that you are persistent and self-reliant in your work as well as take responsibility to drive your job tasks towards the goal.
