Information about the position

Our client is one of the world´s leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, industrial, and marine engines. You will belong to the Autonomous Vehicles Management group, which works on autonomous vehicle management and is responsible for building, maintaining, and configuring autonomous vehicles and test rigs. The team consists of vehicle engineers and project managers, where as a vehicle engineer, you will primarily work in laboratory environments to deliver the best autonomous solution.

You are offered
As a vehicle engineer, you will work on internal projects or external collaborative partnerships. You will be involved in diverse tasks that focus on the autonomy of satellite positioning, cameras, radar, and lidar on vehicles. You will work closely with the development team to communicate feedback, improvement suggestions, and ideas for future features and solutions.

As a vehicle engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing autonomous vehicles for testing
• Working hands-on with the vehicle for troubleshooting and system initialization
• Collaborating and communicating with the development team to ensure timely delivery

As a junior vehicle engineer, you will be assigned a mentor and receive training on the company´s safety procedures and policies. You will also receive an introduction and guidance on the technical system and work processes.

Job duties

• Holds a higher education degree in a relevant technical field, preferably an engineering degree, or has previous experience working as a vehicle electrician, for example.
• Enjoys hands-on work.
• Has basic knowledge of Linux, which is advantageous for managing software and system architecture.
• Fluent in English.

We are looking for
