We are looking for a true leader with excellent people and collaboration skills - passionate about Quality. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a unique product and a state-of-the-art production in a global environment where Quality is a top priority.


Responsibility
As a Quality Manager you will have the responsibility for an organization of about 20 people, whereof 3 supervisors are reporting directly to you. You will work in a cross-functional setting in close cooperation with all internal functions and the scope covers both the production of 4 WD couplings and the new electric drive engine - from Supplier Quality to Customer Quality. You will be responsible for the Quality and the Environmental Management Systems (IATF 16949, ISO 14001) and ensure fulfilment of the automotive industry standards, as well as customer specific requirements. Your responsibility includes, but is not limited to:


· Develop and follow-up on Q & E KPIs and objectives
· Internal and external audits
· Corrective and preventive actions to solve quality issues
· Ensure feedback and lessons learned from customer claims, warranties and market insights
· Secure relevant trainings and tools within the area of Quality and Environment
· Contacts with authorities, risk analysis, annual environmental report etc.


Last but not least, will you be highly involved in facilitating continuous improvement activities in close cooperation with colleagues. You are reporting to the Factory Manager and will be part of the local factory management team.


Profile
We are looking for an experienced (minimum 5 years as a manager) candidate with strong Quality background, preferably from a manufacturing company. We believe you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or similar, together with a good technical understanding. You can easily transform overall strategic goals into daily activities for the team. It is considered a merit if you have experience from an industry with high quality standards, such as Automotive or Medical Device.


In order to be successful in this role we think you need a systematic and structured approach. At the same time, you are an excellent communicator who can create awareness and commitment around Quality work. Of course, you have a passion for Quality, but you are also able to look at things from a broader business perspective. You are not afraid of making yourself heard, and you contribute with value and dynamic discussions in the management team. You possess strong problem-solving skills and you can easily adapt your leadership to a changing high pace environment. Developing others come natural to you.
