Laboratory Technician

Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for providing lab support in terms of ensuring a proper preparation, testing and checking of the equipment
· Responsible for the preventive maintenance of instruments according to the customer’s requirements
· Responsible for the qualification of instruments according to the customer’s requirements
· Responsible for specific and detailed reporting of instrument status
· Maintains high level of customer satisfaction while performing the above
· Responsible for keeping knowledge of serviced instruments up-to-date, including software and other peripherals
· Participate in external and internal training courses in the field of technical skills, personal development and organizational development
Requirements:
Education and experience:
· Graduate degree with relevant years of experience or equivalent in Chemistry or Biochemistry
· 5 years of experience as lab technician working with analytical laboratory equipment.
· Experience with maintenance, validation of lab equipment is a plus.
· Familiar with or working experience in following techniques: GC, HPLC, LC/LC-MS
· Good English language skills required
