Brief description of the company:
Internationella Engelska Skolan in Umeå will be opening in a newly renovated and furnished building at Bölevägen 44, Umeå in August 2015. We are a part of the organisation, Internationella Engelska Skolan i Sverige AB (IES). Half of the tuition is in English and the remainder in Swedish. We are a school with fundamental values; The central pillars of what we offer our students are:
- To command the English language - the key to the world. Up to half of our teaching is in English, performed by certified native English-speaking teachers.
- A safe and orderly environment, where teachers can teach and students learn.
- High academic expectations.

Internationella Engelska Skolans results on the national tests are far above average for Swedish schools.

Our schools are approved by the National Schools Inspectorate (Skolinspektionen) and follow the Swedish curriculum. There are no fees to attend. In compliance with the school law, we base admission on the principle of first-come, first-served.

We require a certified teacher for the following position:

Åks 4-6 eller Åks 7-9 Maths teacher 100%, the position includes mentorship for students.

We are looking for:
- Certified (Lärarlegitimation), professional teachers that will teach in Swedish and English, depending on Year group taught. It is important that you command the English language as the school is bilingual.
- Enthusiastic, dynamic, committed, loyal and positive team-players that are willing to go the extra mile for students and colleagues.
-Experience from an international environment is an advantage.
