IES Uppsala is a school for grades 4-9 with approx. 750 students and a staff body of about 75 members. The school is situated in the southern part of Uppsala, and Uppsala is only 30 minutes away from the swedish national airport Arlanda. 

We are looking for a qualified Textiles teacher with international or Swedish teaching credentials to start in August 2023. The position is 60-100%, permanent with 6 months probation, teaching grades 4,5 & 6, following the Swedish National Curriculum. Possible combination with Home Economics depending on experience. Lessons can be taught in either English or Swedish. As a teacher at IES Uppsala you are also a mentor to a class together with a colleague.
