An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented lawyer to join our global in-house team guiding and supporting the Supply Chain Operations dimension of our business.

The Legal Affairs department is headed up by the Tetra Pak Group General Counsel who leads a team of world class senior lawyers, patent and trademark attorneys and corporate governance and risk management professionals.

Supply Chain Operations is the operating unit within Tetra Pak that is globally responsible for sourcing, manufacturing and delivering high quality, recyclable packaging material, straws, caps, closures and sealing solutions.

The position will report to the Vice-President, Legal Affairs, Supply Chain Operations and be based in Lund, Sweden.



Main responsibilities

-Advising stakeholders on complex legal and business risks
-Planning, drafting and negotiating local and international supply contracts
-Advising on issues which arise in the course of supplier management activities (eg. claims, disputes, insolvency, software purchase and licencing, IPR security
procedures and ownership, competition law, export control, food/product safety and other regulatory issues)
-Helping to develop and implement policies, processes, template agreements, checklists and other tools
-Training and developing strong contract managers (non-lawyers)
-Helping to select, manage and develop external legal advisers
-Facilitating close teamwork with other members of the Legal Affairs team.



Qualifications

You are a qualified lawyer (with a law degree from a Swedish university). You have 3-5 years' experience working for a leading law firm and/or in-house in a multinational or international business of comparable size.You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent drafting skills.

As a person you are a driven, energetic, well-organized and a resourceful self-starter. You manage the ability to make clear, timely and well-reasoned decisions with attention to detail while remaining focused on the "big picture". You are practical, persuasive and a team-player, capable of balancing dual roles in a global legal team and in relevant business teams. You have excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
