Leica Geosystems - Software Engineer

The Machine Control Division, part of Leica Geosystems, has a strong reputation for developing high quality products for the construction industry, and is focused on developing the best in class machine control solution in order to increase efficiency and productivity for our customers.

We now want to strengthen our software development team in Stockholm, Huddinge, with an experienced software developer. We are looking for someone with passion for C + +, Qt, Linux-based applications, command and control technology, and hardware -near programming.

Job description:
You will be part of an international team and collaborate with our colleagues from Switzerland, Australia and Denmark (among others). We are working in small efficient teams with access to the machines for immediate testing. The work includes design, coding and testing of our machine control systems, based on Linux -applications.
You will be part of a goal orientated environment and directly see the fruits of your labor. We also have direct contact with key stakeholder such as the supply chain division and the end customers.

The role will require travel a few trips a year, mainly in Europe.

Your skills:
We are looking for someone who is familiar with the Linux environment and have great interest in programming, and some years of experience in C + +. Experience with OpenGL is desirable but not a requirement. Knowledge of Qt, threading or Boost is a plus.
You have an MSc (or equivalent) and a passion for technology. Our corporate language is English.
