Lighting director at Norrdans

Norrdans produces and presents contemporary dance and choreography for the citizens of northern Sweden. The ensemble consists of nine dancers from around the world, as well as a team of technicians and administrative staff. About 25 people from 11 different countries work at Norrdans.
We dance everywhere; on stages in Haparanda and Rome, in schools in Härnösand and Umeå, on streets and squares in the rest of the world.
Now we are looking for a lighting director to become part of our amazing technical team!
Job description
The lighting director has overall responsibility for the lighting work on production and tour. The person is part of the technical team at Norrdans, which in addition to the lighting director position consists of four people. The duties include, among other things, programming of lighting tables, assistance to visiting lighting designers and artistic teams, documentation and maintenance of our lighting equipment. We use light tables from MA-Lighting Grand-MA2/3 and have up to date technical equipment.
The position also includes other general stage technical duties.
Who are you?
You are an independent initiator who is responsive and service-oriented, creative and efficient. You have an education in lighting technology or equivalent work experience as a lighting director or lighting technician. It is advantageous if you have previous experience from touring activities in dance or other performing arts. Knowledge of Vectorworks is an advantage. Knowledge of video technology is a plus. The position requires good knowledge of spoken and written English.
