Om kunden
The company is an independent world supplier of medium and heavy duty diesel engine cooling solutions. We serve global commercial vehicle OEM’s from our production facilities in Sweden and the USA. All three of our production facilities have a long tradition of working together and are motivated to maintain our reputation as a market leader in the design and manufacturing of engine cooling solutions. We are broadening our industrial footprint to Brazil and China.

Arbetsuppgifter
? Builds and executes the strategy for the commodity
? Manages and develops the supplier panel for the commodity
? Continuously reduces purchasing costs (Total Cost of Ownership) for the commodity by:
# negotiating and settling contracts with suppliers
# identifying, coordinating and implementing sourcing activities
# running workshop at the suppliers and optimizing the production process & the product
? Supports Logistic and Supplier Quality assurance teams
? Reports hierarchically to the Site Purchasing Director


Krav
? Specialized Master degree in Purchasing Management (an additional engineering background is appreciated)
? A minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing function acquired within the automotive or aeronautic industry crowned by significant results and recommendations
? Knowledge in Aluminum and/or Plastic material
? English language at professional level in speech and writing (Swedish or Polish or Chinese is a clear advantage)
? Experience in a multicultural and international organization
? Capacity to work in a challenging environment and ambition to develop the competences
