ABB Robotics is looking for a Logistic Engineer specialized in AGV’s and AMR’s to join our new Automation team at ABB Robotics in Västerås.
Reporting to the Manager Production Engineering Automation, you will be part of defining and improving processes and methods for developing new automation and logistic solutions.
Join a dynamic and innovative team at ABB Robotics with a strong mission to increase the level of automation in the factory and build the new Robotics Campus Sweden. We are seeking for talented Logistic Engineer to be a key contributor to our automation and logistic projects.
You will collaborate closely with other Logistic, Automation Mechanical and Production Engineers and Project Managers to drive the Automation Road Map forward.
Ensure that we achieve health and safety, quality and delivery requirements by problem solving, analyzing, and providing support and equipment to effectively achieve such goals at ABB Robotics in Västerås.
Your responsibilities
Leverage your knowledge in AGV’s and AMR’s to specify, develop and implement new logistic solutions that enhance our manufacturing processes.
Bring your extensive knowledge of AGVs and AMRs from the logistics industry to implement solutions that enhance our manufacturing processes.
Be a key resource in multiple projects aimed at increasing the utilization of AGVs and AMRs, contributing your expertise to the success of each initiative.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AGVs and AMRs seamlessly into our production environment.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure the effective operation of AGV and AMR systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AGVs and AMRs, ensuring efficient and reliable material transports.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AGV and AMR technologies, bringing proven solutions and new ideas to our projects.
Demonstrate a self-motivated and "can-do" attitude, taking initiative to drive AGV and AMR projects to success.

Your background
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in the logistics industry working with AGVs and AMRs, especially in highly automated environments. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Strong technical knowledge of AGV and AMR systems, including navigation, control systems and integration. Proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting AGV and AMR-related issues.
Self-motivated, proactive and capable of working independently to meet project objectives.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
A passion for staying updated with the latest AGV and AMR technologies and trends.
You are taking great responsibility for your work and have a strong will to improve within your area of responsibility.
Good knowledge in Lean and World Class Manufacturing. Good sense of urgency to deliver in projects.
English language is a requirement and Swedish language is beneficial.
