Logistics Associate

On behalf of a client, we are looking for Logistics Associate. The position starts as soon as possible and is estimated for 12 months.

The main function of a Logistics Associate is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work to our Logistics Vendor moving materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical Associate is responsible for reviewing and managing vendor performance against key logistics business KPI's , working with onsite partners to develop resource planning to execute against customer needs.

Job Responsibilities:
Examine materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.
Review production schedules to determine workload priorities setting guidance and expectations to vendors.
Record month end needs supporting IBOS month end close out reporting needs.
Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet operations demands.
Revise priorities, when required, due to design changes, labor or material shortages or other interruptions.
Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.

Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish.
Attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials.
Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
