Manager, Biostatistics
Our Biometrics team is responsible for Biostatistics development and support to Management, Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical development, R&D and Production within the ImmunoDiagnostics Division. The work includes supporting our global organization around clinical evaluations, product development, product registrations, quality control and mathematical/statistical communication and training.

We are now looking for an experienced Biostatistician to lead our Biometrics team and provide development direction and hands-on management. Today the team includes two full time statisticians. External resources are also used when needed.

As Manager you will be responsible for leading and developing the team, communication within the organization and with external collaboration partners and external service provider.

Responsibilities also include
- Active work and support with statistical knowledge in projects within the organization.
- Development of statistical methods for clinical evaluations, product development and production QC for in-vitro diagnostic tests and instrumentation.
- Prioritization and decision making processes to effectively manage the work within the Biometrics team.
- Budgeting, progress monitoring and reporting.

You should have proven experience in
- Leading statistical activities in health care and/or biosciences research and development.
- Programming and using statistical software packages such as SAS and R.
- Working in a matrix environment, as part of a cross-functional team.
- Project/process development

You should have ability to
- Comfortably and successfully interact at all levels within the global organization and tailor messages for the appropriate audience.

- Influence, gain momentum and be team oriented.
- Inspire trust, demonstrate commitment and promote mutual success.
- Understand business implications and act accordingly.

You need to have
- Strong communication, decision making, negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Very good oral and written skills in Swedish and English. German is a merit.
- University degree in statistics or mathematical statistics (min. 90 ECTS credits). Higher academic education is a merit.
- Min. 8-10 years of working experience in the health care and/or bioscience field. Experience from industry is a merit.
