Debt Collection works to minimize financial losses while maintaining good consumer relationships. Our goal is to collect the money owed to us and we strive to resolve the debt with the debtors in a professional and helpful way. We do this by being consistent and reliable, keeping an open mind and continuously improving our results and processes.
The Continental Collection department is responsible for the consumers and debt collection cases from Austria, Germany and The Netherlands. Our main objective is to become leading in the field of debt collection in all our markets.
The Manager of the Continental Collection department will have the overall responsibility for the department and will be reporting directly to the Head of Debt Collection. During the last year the department has grown from 16 to currently 23 employees, divided into two different teams. The main focus has been on establishing sound routines for consumer contact handling with a focus on solution oriented and individually adapted collection processes in all contact points. The current challenges are to continue to build up a world class collection function as well as to bring new ideas and thoughts into the current set up - this is where you come in.
In the role you have full responsibility for personnel, including, performance management and follow-up, coaching, recruitment administration etc. You are responsible of planning and implementation of the short- and long-term development of the department and the debt collection in each market.
Responsibilities
- Coordination of the work carried out within the department
- Responsibility for profitability and performance in terms of revenue and costs
- Responsibility for ensuring that Klarna's policies and internal rules are known and followed
- Actively contribute to and be a part of SEGORIAs management team
To succeed in this position you need to be able to communicate your ideas and get everyone on board, to manage deadlines and structure work tasks over a range of people and functions, as well as to continuously push for progress and improvements within the department and the company. It's a plus if you have previous experience from customer service or debt collection.
