For more information about us, please visit www.alstom.se Manager Engineering Control System Application and Functional Analysis, Power Service Sweden Basic Functions: Managing a group of approx. 25 employees, which includes activities such as: sales support, technical consulting, participate in steam turbine retrofit projects, control system applications and sub project management of control system deliveries. Reports to the General Manager, Engineering, Power Service Sweden. Essential functions: Aligning operational priories with business strategies. Completing the development of capabilities according to business plans and developing the employees according to the long-term competence plan. Representing the control system application department in front of customers and employees. Ensuring that all operational processes and practices are in line with PS-SE policies and guidelines and driving continuous improvement. The Manager for Engineering Control System Application and Functional Analysis is accountable for: Technical solutions for control system platforms /applications, safety and reliability analysis, dynamic analysis for different operational modes for power plants, EHS and employees development process. Compliance with local legal and statutory requirements and obligations relevant to the departments operations. Key Skills and Requirements: B.Sc. or M.Sc. - Computer / Electronics / (Electrical engineering). 3-5 years experience of engineering /programming of digital control systems for power plant applications or pulp & paper. At least 1 year experience of project management or line management. Leadership by example, resilience and focus, prompt in identifying critical operational details to drive problem solving and continuous improvement Skills for clear communications and analytical approach, inclined to easy / informal contacts with employees and do coaching, open and objective toward other cultures. Industrial / large infrastructure project experience. Good skills in English.
