Manager for propulsion and energy management

LeanNova Engineering is an engineering service company situated in Trollhättan, Sweden, created in 2012 by former engineers from Saab Automobile AB. Together with our main investor Fouriertransform AB, we are developing the company to compete internationally, mainly focusing on the automotive industry. We offer our customers excellence in development and integration of systems and attributes for complete vehicles. We have since the start-up in February 2012 grown to over 150 employees with a majority of former Saab engineers but also persons with other experiences. We will continue to grow rapidly and we plan to open offices in Shanghai and Gothenburg.

Position description

We are looking for an experienced manager for our Propulsion and Energy Management team who will provide technical direction and business guidance to the engineering team. In the manager role you will lead and develop the existing team of high skilled engineers and continue to build LeanNova´s capability to manage projects within the propulsion area for our global customers. Typical projects within the propulsion area are: CO2 reduction, new engine installations, hybridization and electrification of vehicles.

Together with our sales and business development team you will grow the business within the area of Propulsion engineering. In this role you will have the opportunity to recruit and build an effective engineering organization.

Skills & Requirements

-B.Sc or M.Sc
-Good understanding of modern engine and transmission system fundamentals.
-Minimum 10 years of accumulated experience in powertrain systems, fuel economy and drivability related calibrations, powertrain installations or related engineering positions.
-Demonstrated leadership of large groups to achieve complex goals.
-Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
-Good understanding of automotive development processes and simulation tools.
