The ABB Robotics factory in Västerås is recruiting a manager for the Industrialization Business Office. In this role you take the responsibility for the strategic manufacturing capabilities and investments towards the new Robotics Campus in Västerås. You are a member of the factory leadership team and report to the factory manager.
Your responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for the factory’s future capabilities
Own and develop the Factory Master Plan including: the Factory’s plan for strategic development to meet future needs, Factory Depth of Engagement with respect to current and future products and processes
Own and develop investments portfolio including project directives and project audits
Own and develop the factory’s Production System and governance
Be responsible for Digital business intelligence

Your background
To be successful in this position we look forward to recruiting a strong, experienced, and collaborative leader that has cross functional knowledge from primarily, production, factory logistics, manufacturing engineering, project and portfolio management, R&D, digitalization, business intelligence and development and expanding of related factory needs
A key characteristic of the candidate is a strong educational background and university degree within engineering
A background from the automotive business is beneficial, as well as knowledge and experience from the production system World Class Manufacturing (WCM)
