We are now recruiting a Manager for Industrialization Engineering (IE).

Duties & Responsibilities

As Manager of the IE department you will secure capacity and capability for the following key duties of the IE function:

- Coordination and execution of Industrialization Engineering activities in product maintenance and development projects.


- Ensure that assembly of Permobil products are targeted by manufacturing and cost efficiency, safety aspects and Lean perspectives, i. e. Design for Assembly. This applies on mechanical, mechatronical and electrical items.

- Ensure that new and changed assembly at Permobil production units is documented by sufficient and relevant level of instructions. Develop and manage documentation of module-based work instructions in PLM system.

- Develop and manage documentation of product and process variant rules in PLM system.

- Training the trainer in new and changed assembly at our production units, i. e. part of design transfer of a product

- Ownership of Permobil Industrialization Line (PIL) including maintenance, development and processes.


As the Manager of Industrialization Engineering you are responsible for setting targets for the department capabilities and driving towards them. You will also manage personnel and distribute work load within the department resources. Other tasks are working with continuous improvements in terms of both processes and personnel competencies and assuring deliveries according to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

We expect you to have a university degree in engineering and/or equivalent work experience from other Product development, production engineering, project management or similar positions. You have experience from:

- flow line production set-ups and processes - how they are created, adjusted and fine tuned to be optimized for a certain production line
- assembly from tempo and operations perspectives including its structure and content
- systems, processes, methods and tooling in perspectives of quality, production engineering and industrialization/producibility


As the Manager of Industrialization Engineering, we also believe you have basic project management skills and knowledge in Lean theory and Lean production. You are fluent in English (spoken and written) and pay high quality attention to both products and processes.
