For more information about us, please visit www.alstom.se Manager, Mechanical Engineering BoP/HEX/Boiler (ref. 5799) Basic functions: Managing a group of approx. 18 employees, which includes activities such as; sales support, technical consulting, repairs, spare parts, participating in steam turbine retrofit projects, inspections, commissioning activities, customer training, drawing archive. Essential functions: Aligning operational priorities with strategies. Completing the development of capabilities according to business plans and develop the employees according to the long-term competence plan. Representing the mechanical engineering department in front of customers and employees. Ensuring that all operational processes and practices are in line with PS-SE policies and guidelines and driving continuous improvement. The Manager for Mechanical Engineering BoP/HEX/ Boiler is also accountable for: Technical solutions for mechanical equipment for BoP/HEX/Boiler, EHS and employees development process. Compliance with local legal and statutory requirements and obligations relevant to the department operations. Key Skills and Requirements: B.Sc. or M. Sc. - Mechanical Engineering 3-5 years experience of engineering within power generation or pulp & paper, at least 1 year experience of project management or line management. Good skills in English. Technical Skills: Industrial / large infrastructure project experience.
