Galderma in Uppsala is on a growth journey and we are now looking to create a team within Operational Excellence. Do you have solid experience from working with lean tools and processes in a manufacturing environment? Do you want to be a part of building a continuous improvement culture at Galderma in Uppsala? Reporting to the Head of Site Operations, the Manager Operational Excellence is responsible for leading and facilitating Operational Excellence initiatives across the site, and will lead a team of 3-5 professionals.
Responsibilities
As Manager Operational Excellence you will develop a strategy and plan to promote and convey a continuous improvement culture focused on the customer including gap analysis and required actions in line with Galderma's commitments and business plan. You will lead continuous improvement activities within M&TO (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Plant Engineering, Quality and Purchasing) at the Uppsala site. Other work tasks include:

Deciding on changes in capacity in accordance to demand as well as implementing productivity improvements where applicable
*
Preparing Value Stream Maps of current processes with identified process improvement opportunities
*
Establishing KPIs to ensure progress is made towards identified improvements
*
End-to-end responsibility of project phases linked to continuous improvement (requirements analysis, design of detailed plans and implementation, monitoring and reporting and responsible for the achievement of selected priorities)

Provide training and coaching to all levels and functions on the use of relevant tools to implement identified improvements
Requirements
You have a minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in various functions and with solid experience of continuous improvement and lean tools and practices (Six sigma black belt certificate is meriting) in a fast paced supply environment.
You are used to developing process controls and quality standards and have strong business acumen with a sense of urgency in meeting customer needs. You are analytical with strong problem solving skills and enjoy working with a change management culture.
Good oral and written communication skills in English is a requirement.
