At Swedish for Professionals, we are thrilled to announce an opening for a Mandarin Chinese Tutor to join our expanding team. Since our establishment in 2014, we’ve been committed to providing Swedish language courses to international talents across various industries in Sweden. As we forge ahead in our growth, we are in search of a Mandarin Chinese Tutor with fluency in English and Portuguese.

The ideal candidate will possess robust pedagogical skills, superior communication and collaboration abilities, flexibility to adapt to variable work schedules, and the creativity to design inspiring and engaging lessons.

Role overview:
As a part time Mandarin Tutor with Swedish for Professionals, you’ll independently train key personnel at some of Sweden’s premier companies. Your responsibilities will encompass creative design and customization of lessons to suit the participants’ requirements, along with generating materials and lesson plans.

The lessons will be delivered remotely and the selected candidate should be available starting from August 2023. The course comprises 64 lessons, each spanning 90 minutes. The course schedule will be tailored to the customer’s preferences regarding day, time, and location. The group sizes can vary from individual sessions to classes with up to 15 participants, comprising adults, children, or young adults from Sweden and Brazil.

Position requirements:

- Native Mandarin speaker.

- Exceptional proficiency in English, equivalent to a native speaker’s level.

- Exceptional proficiency in Portuguese, equivalent to a native speaker’s level.

- Previous experience in an educational or tutoring role, preferably in language instruction.
