Manufacturing Engineer

Volvo Aero develops and produces components for commercial aero, military aero and rocket engines with a high technology content, in cooperation with the world's leading aerospace companies. Service and maintenance represent an increasing proportion of operations in this area. Volvo Aero offers an extensive range of services, including maintenance, repair and overhaul of aero engines and industrial gas turbines, sales of spare parts for aero engines and aircraft as well as sales and leasing of complete engines and aircraft. As a manufacturing engineer, you will be working closely together with our Senior Manufacturing engineers, CAM-engineers, tool designers and other functions in our pre-production process. Since we are using UniGraphics as our engineering platform, most of our production drawings and instructions are established from 3D-models. Requested qualifications: You have a technical education, preferably at academic level or equivalent. We require solid skills and experience in manufacturing engineering. Former experience from model based engineering tools, preferably UniGraphics, are much appreciated. Further, we believe that you have an analytical mind and possess communication skills in both Swedish and English. You are an open minded and positive person with a demonstrated ability to manage continuous improvements.
