The Primary Distribution team comprises 6 schedulers responsible for all Supply logistics in the Nordic countries. Each scheduler has a nominated geographical area but is expected to cover the other team members. The team is responsible for: - Shipping operations within the Nordic Envelope covering internal/external customers' needs. The work environment is changeable and dynamic and the ages within the company vary between the ages of 20-50. It is desirable that you should be able to start relatively promptly and be able to work til the end of this year with opportunities for extension. You will work full time, salary; individual wage In this role you will: * Schedule plan life operation. * Ensure product availability at nominated locations in the Nordic Envelope. * Schedule, nominate (time charter and COA) vessels and/or charter vessels for parts of or within a specified area of the Nordic Envelope. * Assist and give input to a supply program for supplying products to depots and customers. Handle all associated papers to abovementioned activities (volume moved, costs, demurrage, charter parties and such). * Also advise in the day to day-business to the Trading Department in Copenhagen and to Marketing Departments in the Nordic Envelope (freight, volume availability). * Take in the orders and scheduling of vessels to small depots and/or customers. We believe that you have approximately two years working experience from this industry. It is very meritorious if you have an education within the marine area! You should have knowledge about the marine industry, navigations and machinery. Shipping skills or knowledge to Nordic terminal is an advantage. You speak English fluently and Norwegian or another Nordic language would be an advantage. You have excellent communication skills and computer skills! Further more you are detail/action oriented and good at solving problems. You are service minded and a good team player!
