About Niconovum

Niconovum AB is a medical company that markets innovative nicotine replacement therapy products under the Zonnic brand and as private label. Our products are sold in five markets: Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and the UK. In the Nordics, Zonnic is third in terms of market share, but is consistently gaining share. All products are regulated and approved pharmaceuticals. Niconovum AB is a fully owned subsidiary within the British American Tobacco Group and has 16 colleagues. We are growing steadily and have an exciting journey ahead of us.

You will be based at our office in Hyllie, Malmö, reporting to our Head of Sales & Marketing.

The Role

As Marketing Manager, you will be part of a two-person team and take responsibility for market research, mass and in-store communications, strategic partnerships, as well as packaging and product development – with a focus on project efficiency. You will work closely with other departments as well as external partners and agencies to plan and execute the marketing strategy from start to finish. Our products must always adhere to pharmaceutical regulations and standards, adding an extra layer of complexity. You work on a both strategical and operational level in this position, with budget responsibility and reporting also being part of your role.

A more defined description of your scope:

• All facets of market research, including briefs, analysis, contract negotiations, and integrating the findings into projects and presentations
• Development and implementation of marketing plans, for both consumers and trade partners, with a focus on Sweden and Norway
• Effective and compliant communication strategies and media plans
• Input into sales forecasts, tactic evaluations, and information flow
• Budgeting, reconciling monthly invoices, accruals and internal financial reporting
• New product launch plans, with a focus on packaging initiatives
• Agency point of contact, ensuring efficient and productive, on-budget collaborations
• Business Development planning with a strong growth focus

 

Your Profile

Our preferred candidate will have a relevant academic degree and at least 3-5 years of experience in Brand Marketing. Experience with non-prescription pharmaceuticals, healthcare brands, or CPG, will be to your advantage.

You have previously been involved with product development, including corresponding business cases and building P&Ls, and have solid budgeting skills along with some knowledge of accounting principles. If you are already familiar with SAP, all the better.

Furthermore, you are accustomed to designing, implementing, and analyzing market and consumer research studies, and have experience with syndicated data. You have extensive knowledge of the basic marketing mix and multi-channel communication, and know how to get the most out of your partnerships with creative agencies.

Please note that fluency in both Swedish and English is a firm requirement for this role. An additional Nordic language would be most convenient.

As a person, you are known for your ability to take initiative and responsibility, but also for your team-oriented mindset – allowing you to work independently and with a lot of freedom, but with the best of the team and their goals at heart and a consensus-based approach. You have strong communication skills, an agile and flexible attitude, and a passion for Brand Marketing!
