Job description

The Marketing Manager will act as a liaison between PM/Category Marketing and local Sales departments, together with individual customers, ensuring fast and effective roll out of GTM plans, driving activities and plans. Overall objective for position is to drive sell out of, and grow brand preference for, Samsung smartphones in Sweden, with the ultimate target of reaching a market leading position.

Main tasks

- Responsible for the development- and ensuring alignment of full year marketing roadmap for Sweden for Smartphones.

- Responsible for development and communication aligned with key stakeholders within Customer Marketing/Retail Marketing/Online.

- Active part in developing messaging for focus products within category, in close co-operation with IM Category Marketing, PR team and Product Management.

- Extended operational function for Swedish customers in terms of joint marketing planning and activity execution. Also responsible for Channel marketing and the personnel within; Channel Marketing Leads.

Qualifications required

A University degree, preferably with a major in Marketing. You are also familiar with consumer insights, market research and analysis of data. You are a good leader with project management excellence but also strategic and analytical. You need to be pragmatic, easy to collaborate with and have a ´can do´ attitude. To be successful in the role you also need to be fluent in English & Swedish.

Experience

- Marketing experience with minimum 4-5 years of solid consumer marketing, market planning and experience from strong brands within Consumer Electronics/Telecom and/or FMCG on multi-country markets

- Experience from management of large marketing budgets, covering ATL as well as BTL. Also a solid grasp of all elements of the media mix, ranging from conventional offline, to online and experiential marketing

- Experience of channel sales and marketing is a merit

An exciting role in Samsungs international fast paced environment. The office is located in Kista, Stockholm. This is an assignment 100% with start ASAP and until 31:st of october, with possible extension. This position covers a parental leave.
