Material Master Data Specialist

The main objective of the role is to secure and drive the master data maintenance process and development of this in the group context. This means ensuring master data of high quality that supports transactions and correct reporting as well as supporting in change activities, with a focus on Europe.
During SAP roll-outs to secure the master data implementation seen to quality, time line and consistency.
The role covers both functional and technical data aspects.

Responsibilities:
- Act as gate keeper for all material master data within the solution
- Actively work for making the end to end process efficient and consistent
- Support when specialist competence is needed
- Handle master data configuration tables
- Trouble shooting
- Process and instruction documentation
- Gather issues and demands for process improvement
- Channel improvements and updates to the GSSC/MD
- Follow up master data metrics
- Run improvement activities
- Hold training connected to material master data
- Keep the toolkit for the material master data domain updated
- Drive and participate in projects, initiated by business and/or IT
- Ensure master data issues in the implementation projects are handled
- Actively build cross-functional and cross-competence collaboration within and outside the area of responsibility
- Maintain personal skills at the highest level

Requirements:
-Master Data experience is mandatory, minimum 2 years
-SAP competence
- Experience from manufacturing, finance, supply chain, logistics or demand flow
- MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel/Access, Project, Visio)
- Good business process understanding
- Ability to interpret business rules and requirements for providing relevant IT technical solutions
- Technical investigation interest connected to system
- FLUENT English
