Materials leader

Role Summary:
Overall responsibility for Materials availability and inventory levels related to assigned production segments. Both on operational and strategically level. Identify opportunities and lead cross functional projects to improve availability, inventory, productivity and transactional efficiency in materials flow related to assigned production segment or overall site. Develop business case to support resource allocation and CAPEX approval needed to drive improvements.


Essential Responsibilities:
Coordinate activities within Materials organization to provide manufacturing with materials.
Act as a pivot between Materials specialist, Suppliers and Global sourcing to solve day to day materials issues.
Work with Manufacturing, Sourcing, SQLE, R&D, Suppliers to generate continues improvement ideas and implement those ideas that lead to bottom line results.
Establish and develop positive Supplier relationships with key suppliers
Represent Materials in NPIs, Open projects and transfers.



Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors Degree and strong experience in operations management OR High School Diploma/GED and proven applicable operations experience +/or equivalent knowledge or experience
Be a dynamic and strong leader, capable of driving change, efficiencies and improvements across different functional boundaries.
Experience of day to day work in ERP system
English and Swedish as working language both written and oral
