Math Teacher Grade 7-9

Internationella Engelska Skolan Uppsala is a grade 4-9 school with around 720 pupils. We follow the Swedish curriculum, although English, Mathematics, and Science are taught in English by native English speakers. We provide pupils with the opportunity to command the English language in a safe and orderly environment, in which teachers can teach and students can learn. With both Swedish staff, and staff from many different parts of the world, students are submerged in a multicultural environment providing them with challenges and experiences.

We are looking for an experienced, full time certified teacher of Mathematics for grades 7-9 to begin in August 2015. At IES Uppsala, Math is taught in English. Therefore, fluency in the English language as the language of instruction is a requirement.

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic teacher and a good team player. Mentorship of a class will be part of the position.
