McDonald´s is looking for a Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst you are expected to provide actionable business analysis, insights and foresights to use in the development of strategic plans and initiatives that drive the performance of the business. This position provides effective decision support and direction through fact based information by monitoring and analyzing internal data and by supporting development and implementation of marketing/company strategies. The position reports to the Director of Strategy & Insights. This is a Full-time position starting April 1st until end of December. You will be based at our head office in Skärholmen.

As a Business Analyst you will:



• Provide quantitative measures of sales, product, marketing, and brand performance.

• Serve as the primary user advocate at McDonald's, ensuring that the corporate strategy is forward looking, reflective and solves real consumer needs.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to define, and deliver business-moving research and analysis, and work across departments to apply insights gained to create material business value.

• Employ a full range of research techniques to accomplish these objectives and develop a deep understanding of our core users, marketplace, competitors, and emerging trends.

• Find the best ways to answer key business questions, recommending research and analytical techniques and thereby provide the base for informed decision making.

Qualifications:

You have a University degree within business, economics, engineering, statistics or other relevant area. We believe that you have 1-2 years' experience from working in an insights position or in another relevant quantitative role. You need to have excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and be fluent in both the English and Swedish language.

You have an analytical approach, and an ability to conceptualize and solve problems. The right candidate pays a great attention to detail and enjoy working with numbers as well as being a good communicator with the ability to explain complex issues in a clear, simple manner and comfortable with making oral presentations. You need to enjoy working in a changing environment, have the capability of working independently, working towards deadlines and bring forward your own ideas.
