Geometry Engineer - ME Geometry

Responsibilities and tasks

- Drive process driven product design and align the CEVT/Geely ME/SE community to ensure "one voice" from manufacturing geometry to R&D.
- Drive the coordination between CEVT and Geely China for measuring equipment development both from a quality and timing perspective.
- Give input to resolutions and keep track on all related issues from R&D such as PCR and other changes and secure the hardware are updated according to of 3d data in time.
- Make PKRV sub-assemblies document for BiW requirement.
- Make the measurement point drawings for single parts and in-house assemblies.

Requirements

- Degree as a certified engineer in mechanical engineering, automotive process engineering or industrial engineering.
- Experience of dimensional and geometry assurance
- Knowledge and experience in working with cubing development is required.
- Thorough knowledge of dimensional engineering and body manufacturing process.
- Experience in working with measurement point drawings and inspection preparation activities.
- Ability to create and support PKRV drawings in RDnT.
- Ability to read product drawings, GD&T drawings and Tool Design drawings
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Good knowledge in RD&T, CATIA and Team Centre is highly essential.
