Mechanical Design Engineer to DeLaval

The Mechanical Engineering group at DeLaval is responsible for the mechanical design of the conventional milking systems, CMS. The milking systems are designed to withstand continuous operation in harsh environments. The group is growing and is now looking for a new mechanical design engineer.

Job description:

You will be working with mechanical design in our development projects in a multi-cultural environment. The mechanical parts are mainly in stainless steel or injection molded plastic parts. If you like to, you will have the possibility to travel to the other international development sites and to visit customers.

Qualifications:

• MSc or BSc in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• A few years working experience in mechanical engineering and product development is a merit but not required.
• Experience of working with CAD.
• Experience of working with FEM.
• Fluent in English in both written and spoken.
• Language skills in Swedish is a merit.
• Farming experience is a merit.

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interact with people across functions and cultures.
