We are looking for Mechanical Design engineers who have the drive and passion to contribute to great teamwork, continuous improvements and excellent innovations to meet future business challenges.


This is us, your new colleagues
Volvo CE in Braås, located close to Växjö, develops Articulated haulers and Wheel loaders. We are four design engineering teams responsible for new products, feature development and aftermarket quality.
Today these teams consist of engineers working in a supportive open landscape, closely together with production, purchasing, suppliers and aftermarket. Together with your new colleagues, you will create products that represent quality, safety and care for the environment. We benefit from having the production line at the same location, as well as a global network within the Volvo Group.

Knowledge & experience
To be successful in your new role you need the following knowledge/experience:
M.Sc./B.Sc. degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
Experience in Mechanical Design
Strong communication skills in English, spoken and written
Catia v5 or similar 3D-modelling software
Experience from plastic and sheet metal design and / or welded structures is meritorious
