Mechanical Designer till Tetra Pak i Lund

Main responsibilities As a Mechanical Designer you will be working with product development of[ filling machine equipment in the Base Module within Tetra Pak Carton Economy.In this position you will strengthen the mechanical competence in the line organization to achieve robust and cost effective design solutions.You will work with development for Tetra Pak A1 filling equipment platform, all the way from requirements to approved solutions as well as supporting our low cost manufacturing supply chain.The work area involves to a high degree technologies for package forming and sealing.The work will include: * Designing, drawing, calculation and documentation of mechanical equipment. * Usage of World Class Engineering tools for robust design such as FMEA, DoE. * Drive improved design and work methodologies.[You will plan, execute and follow-up on deliverables according to agreed processes within technology and product development and product maintenance. Qualifications To be successful in this position you should have a Master degree in Mechanics.You have at least 2 years experience in mechanical design from the food/car industry or similar and preferably with Pro E as your main CAD tool.Experience in Six Sigma and usage of World Class Engineering tools for robust design such as FMEA and/or DoE will be seen as a strong advantage.You have strong skills in design and manufacturing technology with good knowledge in mechanics, materials, quality assurance and drawings standards.You also have a good understanding of how design affects the production and the supply chain operations.In the position we can see a person with genuine technical interest.You have high personal drive and ability to focus on result, without compromising on quality.You are open minded, enthusiastic and a good team member who easily receives confidence from colleagues and partners.You feel secure in the role to prioritize, make decisions and are able to use informal authority to drive people and influence.You are also skilled in planning with a structured work approach.You have a high proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
