We are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer in our Sustaining & Product Development Services department. In this role you will help Cochlear to realise its mission by developing accessories and sustain the product portfolio in close collaboration with Marketing, Manufacturing & Logistics and Clinical Validation department.

You Bring Your Skills and Experience
As we grow bone conducted solutions business, we are looking for people with highly specialised skills and capabilities who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers.
As a regulated company, Cochlear has a responsibility to hire people with the right skills and qualifications to do the work.

To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Engineering Degree or Engineering Certificate from a technical field.
CAD design expertise, preferably in PTC Creo.
Experience from Windchill PDMLink is a plus.
Knowledge in common manufacturing methods.
Knowledge in common measuring and test methods.
Fluent in Swedish and English with good writing and presentation skills.
An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Communicative team-player with a talent for working methodically and find creative solutions.
Applies rules and procedures according to situation.
Adapts actions to achieve organization´s objectives.
The ability to take personal responsibility.
The ability to solve problems and collaborate to get work done that delivers benefits for Cochlear´s customers.
A responsible attitude to working safely and building the safety culture.
A commitment to lifelong learning and development.
