About the job

In this role, you'll collaborate with a small but enthusiastic team of 7 talented colleagues as a member of Verisure's Global Mechanical Engineering team within the Product Engineering and IT Services organization. Our team's mission is clear: we're dedicated to developing, implementing, and maintaining the critical interfaces that bridge systems and products.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including product development, integration, verification, release management, and ongoing maintenance. We're laser-focused on ensuring quality, controlling costs and optimizing project processes. We're also committed to strategic initiatives aimed at reducing service issues and return rates. Furthermore, we place a high premium on enhancing user experience, streamlining ease of use, and elevating product and service design.

Mission for Mechanics

The Mechanical Engineer has ownership and responsibility, in a Mechanical point of view, for all aspects of components, sub-systems, including planning, design, volume manufacturability, quality and verification. This includes the responsibility to find and correct all design or quality issues.

You possess significant experience in product development, particularly in handling plastic and metal components within consumer products. A solid academic foundation, preferably with a Master's degree in a relevant scientific field, is a must. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.

* Knowledge of the security industry
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies like iterative work approaches
* A broad skillset encompassing CAD and PLM systems
* An analytical mindset
* The ability to quickly learn and utilize various software applications
