Mechanical Engineer

About the role
Currently, Excillum offer the MetalJet source, based on the company-founding metal-jet-anode technology, and the NanoTube source powered by their refined e-beam technology. You will be a part of a small team with two other Mechanical Engineers but work cross functionally and collaborate with electrical and system engineers as well as compliance engineers, researchers, production, and sales. Excillum are headquartered in Kista, with R&D lab and production all in house.

Job duties
- Completing assemblies and products from your own construction ideas
- Developing and testing prototypes of new mechanical designs
- Providing support and improvements to present product lines
- Construction of advanced milled and cut 3D structures
- Preparing drawings

On top of this, you also have…

- A B.Sc or M. Sc. In mechanical engineering
- Some years (around 3 or more) of work experience as a mechanical engineer
- Proficiency in 3D CAD programs, Excillum is working with Creo
- Hands-on experience working, refining and trouble shooting of advanced technical systems
- Professional knowledge in English, written and spoken


It´s an additional qualification if you have…

- Experience with simulations
- Experience with high vacuum
- Experience in Creo Suit
- Experience with structure analyze/static analyze

- Start: Immediate, but an eventual notice period or other circumstances will be considered
