WHAT WILL YOU DO ?

You will design and develop all aspects of mechanical components, systems, and products including the assembly and part drawings as well as other required documentation from specification to manufacturing release:

- Prepare appropriate documentation to specify customer requirements.
- Participate in determining project costs, schedules, and schedule status reports.
- Perform mechanical design concept using CAD: Pro/Engineer, Catia, Unigraphics/NX or Solidworks.
- Perform stress analysis using classical methods.
- Provide document packages of the complete design, including drawings, Bills of Materials and Engineering Change Orders; using standard design criteria, practices, procedures and codes.
- Select appropriate purchase component for mechanical prototyping and create requisitions with appropriate delivery dates.
- Ensure quality by designing testing methods (with a focus on procedures, test equipment and problems involved in designing, changing or re-arranging materials).
- Ensure parts interrelate properly in all mechanical designs and products are fully tested and conform to customer requirements.
- Recommend equipment, new concepts and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.

YOUR PROFILE

- Bachelor's or Master's degree within Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of work experience within mechanical design and product development.
- Experience in Pro/Engineer, Catia, Unigraphics/NX or Solidworks are essential skills.
- Great emphasis is put on your social skills, your ability to cooperate and to adapt to the surrounding environment in your role as a Consultant.
