Mechanical engineer, telecom products

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Mechanical engineer to our engineering area to take on the challenge to plan and design future telecom products. The work will be done in very close cooperation with system design teams, Base station, Radio unit, Tower mounted, RFU, TRU.

Skills required:
We require experience in mechanical design of telecom concepts and products

This means mechanical design experience of products with the high quality and the performance normally related to radio products. Products that must also achieve low cost and high reliability and that are aimed for a high volume production.

We believe that this has given the candidate a deep knowledge of the die-casting process, of extruded/machined products and an understanding of the complexity of cooling and outdoor environment.

For this position we also value experiences of the platform, concept & product portfolio. discussions that take place during the initial phases of a product lifecycle.

The candidate can of course communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing

We require Bachelor Degree, Masters in mechanical engineering or equivalent background

We expect that the candidate can work independently as well as in a team

The candidate should have a high focus on delivering high quality work

The candidate should have a strong feeling and interest for development and to share experiences with others in the team and have a proven capability to pursue creative solutions.
