We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Mechanical Prototype Technician for an exciting assignment with one of our clients, a leading player in battery technology. In the role of Mechanical Prototype Technician, you will play a central role in manufacturing prototypes for their groundbreaking battery tests and experiments.
As an integral part of the client's team, you will be responsible for manufacturing mechanical and electrical components for battery tests and experiments, including mechanical assemblies and electrical testing. You will also work closely with quality and engineering teams to ensure that the manufactured prototypes meet the highest standards and specifications.

Ansvarsområden
The responsibilities for this position are:
Manufacture prototypes of mechanical and electrical components for battery tests and experiments.
Collaborate with the quality and engineering teams to ensure that manufactured prototypes meet standards and specifications.
Commission and troubleshoot products with internal customers.
Secure and set up the work area, including tools, equipment, and a stock of standard components, in collaboration with the manufacturing team, to perform the above tasks.
Establish your own network of supplier partners, with the assistance of our Supply Chain, to quickly secure components for prototype building.


Kvalifikationer
To thrive in this role we believe that you have:
Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical prototype, manufacturing, or maintenance with proven practical experience.
Education in mechanical or electrical field.
High-voltage training and safety awareness are a significant advantage.
Good command of English, both written and verbal. Swedish is advantageous.
Ability to work independently under time pressure.
Resourceful and creative person who can find solutions on the spot.
Attention to detail and uncompromising attitude towards quality.
Excellent relationships with engineers.
Passionate and purpose-driven, as we work towards a more sustainable future.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, under high pressure to deliver.
