Nordic Accounting Director till HBO

Home Box Office, Inc. is the premium television programming subsidiary of Time Warner Inc and the world´s most successful pay-TV service, providing television services to approximately 93 million subscribers worldwide.

HBO Nordic  offers subscribers all seasons of current hit series, including Boardwalk Empire, The Newsroom, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Veep and Girls, as well as classics like Sex and the City, The Sopranos and The Wire.

We are looking for someone who has a broad knowledge in accounting and a vast experience of the ever changing business & demands of the American Company culture.

Job responsibility


HBO Nordic´s legal reporting for four affiliates & holding company
Preparation and review of monthly financial reporting and forecasting
Cash management – including cash reports to HBO & Time Warner (weekly)
Primary point of contact with banks, auditors and tax consultants
Point of contact for HBO NY Finance and Tax department
Payroll administration – contact with oursouced partners
AX administrator – develop and maintain financial reporting systems
Cash management – including cash reports to HBO & Time Warner (weekly)
Intercompany books and records
Oversee contract administration for financial purposes

Requirements


Degree in Accounting
A minimum of 6 years experience in a corporate reporting role. Prior experience reporting for the Nordic region and US GAAP reporting a US public entity a plus
Experience in the entertainment industry a plus
Must be able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
Must have strong Excel skills
Must be able to work independently and mange and work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Must have strong oral and written communication skills in English and fluency in Swedish. Must be comfortable in both hands on and a supervisory roles.

The role also includes personnel, initially for one or two accountants.
