Nordic Chief Accountant

Inditex Scandinavia (includes the store concepts ZARA and Massimo Dutti in Sweden, Norway and Denmark) is now looking for a Nordic Chief Accountant.You will be based in our Head Office in Stockholm.Functions: He/she will be responsible for: . Accounting: accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger, inter company transactions, contact with auditors, monthly, quarterly and yearly closings, preparation of yearly statutory accounts, ensure that accounting legislation and norms are followed across all brands and stores in Scandinavia.. Reporting of trial balances and other accounting information.. Tax: ensure correct Vat legislation is applied across all brands and stores in Scandinavia prepare Vat declaration and other tax returns, preparation of data for yearly tax computation.. Legal: contact with internal legal dept.regarding board meeting minutes, statutory disclosures and lease agreements data for rent of premises.. Bank: liquidity, preparation of cash flow statements, organization of bank accounts and merchant services.. Management of accounting team of 4 persons.Requirements: . Fluent in Swedish and English, Spanish valued.. Minimum 3 years experience as an auditor with a multinational auditing company.. Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field.. Solid accounting knowledge and interest . Able to work as part of a team . Able to meet deadlines . Good communication skills . Aptitude for figures and able to analyse and solve problems .
