Nordic Market Insight Assistent

To carry out all marketing analytics including market research, market trends, customer trends and competitor information. To identify the key needs of our Paslode end users, especially the Carpenter, Roofer and Joiner tradesmen as well as General Builders.

Responsibilities:
To be responsible for supporting the European Market Insight Manager (based in the United Kingdom) with the development of a Nordic Trade Mapping analysis (to include Industry and Construction Products). (Trade Mapping must include number of tradesmen, revenue by company, spend on Paslode product etc).

Compilation, analysis and distribution of Nordic Paslode Market Trend Report quarterly (Market Trends are based on available market reports but need to be analysed for Paslode relevant information). Compilation and reporting of Paslode competitor information for the Nordic countries.

Pricing research of comparable competitor products, key features (strengths and weaknesses) of competitor products, nature of competitor services.

Working with the Nordic Region Product Managers and European Market Insight Manager to support Paslode product research and developments.

Compilation of monthly "press cuttings" document to include all competitor and industry related press cuttings from trade press, also national news affecting our
marketplace.

Product or Application specific Paslode end user research which can include telephone research, site research (face to face) and internet research.

Accountabilities
Formulating of findings from above mentioned Research in clear written report and PowerPoint presentations.

Further information
Some travel might be required to visit jobsites across the Nordic region Ideally to speak Swedish, Norwegian and Danish. Must be able to write and speak English. Computer literate using Microsoft applications

Salary
Fixed contract for either 6 or 12 months available. 20.000 Euro salary if 12 months (pro rata if 6 months)
