About the assignment

The Product Specialist is supporting the Nordic Team in the area of Home Entertainment in regards of technical expertise, market knowledge and product training. The Product Specialist is also responsible for PR & press contacts, as well as securing correct information on the Nordic web sites and providing customers with the same. The position reports to the Nordic Marketing Manager HA, based at our Stockholm office.


Key Operational Responsibilities

• Being the technical specialist, both in terms of products and features, including having a good understanding about our competitors’ products.

• Obtain a good general knowledge and understanding of the TV and Audio business & major retailers.

• Understanding of areas of competitiveness – pricing, specifications & consumer benefits, and what is important to customers (sell-in), store sales staff (sell-out) and consumer(usage)

• Contact with HQ regarding new products, images, specifications, energy- & service related matters etc.

• Responsible for providing key customers with correct product information for sell-in & web sites.

• Responsible for securing correct and best info on the Nordic web sites & activation in social channels.

• Responsible for PR, product testing & journalist contacts.


Responsible for training, securing level of knowledge and the way it is passed on to stakeholders as well as providing relevant training material. Internal (Service & support, Sales, Product consultants) & external (customers, press).

• Manage and drive BU operational short term objectives

• Be a part of yearly strategic planning for the BU

• Follow our main competitors strategies and changes in the TV business

• Be part of planning for and introducing new products and product categories

• Administration such as internal reporting and handling invoices

• Occasional travel within the Nordic countries/Europe may occur

Background and experience

• Experience from TV and audio (HE) business and our key customers

• Technical engineer or other university degree is an advantage together with technical interest

• Knowledge in MS Office (PPT, Excel). Photoshop basic is a plus.

• Experience from marketing communication, PR, press contacts is a merit

• Presentation & training skills

• Fluent in English – spoken and written. One or more Nordic language is an advantage.

• Experience from working with a multinational or global company is a merit
