What will you be doing?
As Onboard Sales and Service Manager your role is to lead and develop the service & sales team onboard the four ships operating Sweden – Denmark by maximizing profitability and delivering a consistently high level of customer service within retail, F&B and onboard accommodation. You will also be managing, coaching, motivating and guiding the Service Managers onboard enabling them to create winning teams according to Stena Line’s values and vision, with a clear objective to provide a seamless customer experience and ensure Stena Line’s brand reputation.

You will join the management team in Business Region Denmark, leading the onboard sales and service team with 9 direct reports, and reporting to Trade Director.

Some of your key responsibilities:

• Deliver and develop a professional service culture and service delivery onboard ensuring company service standards, customer experience model and all other ‘one company’ processes
• Provide leadership, motivation and inspiration for the region’s team
• Lead all operational activities and processes, ensuring optimum consistency and quality of customer service
• Build and take ownership of the regions onboard sales & services budget and ensure financial performance exceeds budgets and targets
• Contribute where appropriate to Group Onboard Sales & Services concept and product development
• Provide an effective link with Travel and Marketing department
• Optimize communication throughout all relevant departments and colleagues
• Promote and share best practice within the region and across the company

The must-haves:

• A strong track record and solid experience in a commercial position within the service industry, preferably in a larger international organization
• Experience working in a multicultural organization (must be fluent in English and Swedish)
• Minimum 10 years work experience of which at least 5 years in a leadership position
• A relevant qualified education supplemented with professional trainings
• Leadership experience in managing managers and inspirational leadership skills, knowing how to convince as well as to negotiate
