Open call invitation for street artists for the
7th Patras' International Street Art Festival | ArtWalk 7
After the very successful organization of the 6th Patras International Street Art Festival | ArtWalk 6, Art in Progress announces again this year the realisation of the open call for street artists who wish to participate in the 7th Patras International Street Art Festival | ArtWalk 7, which will be held in mid April, May, June, July, September and October 2022 in Patras.
"Change the city", with this slogan we invite street artists who have reached the age of 18, residing in Greece or abroad, regardless of nationality, and have previous experience, to participate in the creation of large-scale murals in targeted locations and buildings throughout Patras.
The aim of the 7th Patras International Street Art Festival | ArtWalk 7 is the modern visual intervention in the urban fabric of Patras, giving character and colour to the city.
In particular, the candidate artists have the opportunity to choose 1 to 5 themes and send 1 to 2 drafts for each different theme they chose.
The themes are important anniversaries of historical events, events of pop culture, anniversaries of births and deaths of personalities that stigmatized international history, as well as a free theme.
The suggested themes can be found in detail in the open call form.
Interested artists have the opportunity to submit their application, as well as drafts of their projects electronically, from Monday, 10th of January 2022
to Tuesday, 1st of March 2022 (23:59 EET / UTC + 2),
via the site and social media of Art in Progress or directly here.
The results of the Open Call will be officially announced by the 15th of March 2022.
