Global Application Competence Center is a part of Information Management Business Area Specialty Chemicals organization. We deliver application services and project realization and consist of people from the former IM organization within Industrial Chemicals, Surface Chemistry, Pulp and Performance Chemicals and Functional Chemicals.

Global Application Competence Center has an immediate opening for an individual who can fulfil the following key role as Operational Application Manager Finance. The position is based in Bohus, but since Specialty Chemicals have global presence, you will be handling requests from all regions we operate in.

Responsibilities

The OAM supports the business by providing customers technical and quality services worldwide such as expertise in maintenance and support of SAP and other applications.

-Finance Incident Management: Keeping systems up and running, by applying a controlled process of registering, monitoring and resolving of application related tickets.
-Process improvements: Proposes small adaptations in the applications in co-ordination with the Process Manager and ensures needed logging of changes and transactions.
-Support for Authorization Management and User Account Management.
-Takes care of proper documentation of the application.
-Organizes with Key-users training-sessions of an application on request and maintains training material.
-Has regular contact (when needed site-visits) with key users to ensure and improve the proper use of the application involved.

Job requirements

-At least 4 years of relevant work experience in FICO functions.
-Bachelor degree in information management or related discipline and several years of documented experience from working with business systems within finance.
-Strong technical application know-how within financial business systems (SAP).
-Good knowledge of integration between accounting/controlling with production, purchasing, sales & distribution and plant maintenance.

To be successful in this position you should be used to work in a self-dependent way, but at the same time be a good team player. You are a good communicator both orally and in writing and of course fluent in English. As a person you are positive, responsible and highly result oriented as well as quality-driven.

Additional information

This is a permanent position on a full time basis, reporting to the Regional Manager Global Application Competence Center.
